Jumpola: The Ultimate Links List for Designers, Marketers, and Artists
What is the Designer’s Jumpola?
I like to think of this big list of design-oriented links as a place of “instructional (and entertaining) introductions.” A carefully chosen list of people, places, things, and ideas, some of which, I hope to have the privilege of introducing you to for the first time.
They are carefully chosen and (I hope you will agree) organized in a way that makes them reasonably easy to use. And while I certainly don’t agree with everything they publish or promise, I think you will find most are worth seeing.
The idea for the page grew out of my own frustration in finding a useful “start page” for the design trade. I was looking for a page with more of the tools and information I use as a designer and writer, and less of the blinking perfume ads. The Designer’s Jumpola is an ongoing experiment in developing that page.

What is the Design Links Briefing?
I started the briefing with the idea of sharing a periodic list of the new and new-to-me designer-oriented resources I come across and post on jumpola.com. It has become so popular, I now am able to devote some serious time to the monthly search. My goal for each issue is to introduce you to at least one extraordinary site you have not yet come across and my hope is that you will receive some of the same insights and encouragement I have in tracking them down.--Chuck
Who is Chuck Green?
Chuck Green is the principal of Logic Arts Corporation, a design and marketing firm and sponsor of jumpola.com and ideabook.com.
Green is a contributor, past and present, to many publications including: Before & After, a magazine of design and page layout for desktop publishers; Dynamic Graphics Magazine, a publication that provides ideas and how-to instruction for Mac and PC desktop publishers; Home Office Computing, a publication targeted at small business computer user; Microsoft’s Business Advantage Web, a web for small business computer users; Okidata’s Small Business Resource Center, a web for small business printer users; and eFUSE, a web for web designers.
