What is the Designer’s Jumpola?
I like to think of this big list of design-oriented links as a place of “instructional (and entertaining) introductions.” A carefully chosen list of people, places, things, and ideas, some of which, I hope to have the privilege of introducing you to for the first time.
They are carefully chosen and (I hope you will agree) organized in a way that makes them reasonably easy to use. And while I certainly don’t agree with everything they publish or promise, I think you will find most are worth seeing.
The idea for the page grew out of my own frustration in finding a useful “start page” for the design trade. I was looking for a page with more of the tools and information I use as a designer and writer, and less of the blinking perfume ads. The Designer’s Jumpola is an ongoing experiment in developing that page.
Welcome to ColorCombos.com. This site was built to help web developers quickly select and test color combinations.
The heart of the site is the Combo Tester, which allows web developers to see how different color combinations work together on the screen.
If you are looking for Color Combination ideas, check out the Combo Library.
Use this tool to easily create those popular 80x15 micro buttons you see on web sites everywhere. Dynamic Drive is now offering a free online tool to easily and visually create those popular “XHTML valid” micro buttons (80x15). You can also opt for the larger 88x31 button instead. Enjoy!
